Running with the Bulls

I will let the low resolution images do the talking while your eyes do the walking. In fifteen years of chasing fins with the long rod, I have yet to have better fishing. We flew in from all over, and then drove all night until all roads ended. Our journey birthed ten hours of sleep, three days of nonstop backcountry angling, and literally hundreds of pounds of giant Bull Trout caught on the fly. The heavens opened and St. Andrew reached down showering us with angler’s luck. The ultimate barometer of good living, every ounce of fish karma was cashed in. Sixty gigs of RAW files left to process, here is the first swipe of my last trip out in the back country while sleeping in the dirt.

Day One: Running With the Bulls

Day two to follow: Much, much More to come!

I like the St. Andrew shout out. Although not Catholic, I do respect the power of St. Andrews. I am a fishermen and a Pisces, so I declared him my saint as well. I have a pendant hanging from my rear view mirror in my truck. Looks like fun fishing for bulls. I'd love to get into some of those.
